Description:

Tek-402 Haze Remover is a safe, odourless, biodegradable, 100% water-soluble formula, used for the removal of haze and ghost images caused by UV, epoxy, plastisols, stencil, conventional and solvent-based ink residues.

Application:

Tek-402 Haze Remover, when used in combination with a Tek screenwash of choice, is a very efficient and safe haze and ghost remover. It contains a degreasing agent that generates a clean and oil-free screen after rinsing. The continuous use of Tek-402 will significantly increase the life of the screen fabric.

Characteristics:

Tek-402 Haze Remover has a low caustic content of a maximum 7% and is readily biodegradable with no VOC emissions, and is a safe product when used as directed. However, large spills should be cleaned and treated in compliance with local governmental regulations.

1. Procedure for removing light to medium stains:

Spray or brush Tek-402 Haze Remover onto both sides of the screen, wait 5 to 10 minutes, then apply a Tek screenwash of choice to both sides. Wait another 2 to 5 minutes and remove the product with a high-pressure water system, starting from the bottom of the screen and slowly working your way up from side to side.

2. Procedure for removing heavy or old stains:

Spray or brush Tek-402 Haze Remover onto both sides of a dry screen allowing the product to dry completely, and then apply a Tek screenwash of your choice to both sides of the screen. Wait 3 to 5 minutes before removing the product with a high-pressure water system, starting from the bottom of the screen and slowly working your way up from side to side.

NOTE: If haze or ghosting persists, the use of Tek-404 Screen Rejuvenator may be required.
