Description:

Tek-404 Screen Rejuvenator is a biodegradable, 100% water-soluble formula manufactured for the removal of the heaviest haze and ghost images caused by UV, epoxy, plastisol, stencil, conventional, and solvent-based ink residues.

Application:

Tek-404 Screen Rejuvenator, when used in combination with a Tek screenwash of choice, is a powerful haze and ghost-image remover. Using this product instead of heavy caustic pastes will greatly increase the life of a screen fabric. (Please refer to the Safety Data Sheet for this product.)

Characteristics:

Tek-404 Screen Rejuvenator has a higher caustic content (up to 12%) and is readily biodegradable with no VOC emissions. It is a safe product when used as directed; however, spills should be cleaned and treated in compliance with local governmental regulations.

1. Procedure for removing light to medium stains:

Spray or brush Tek-404 Screen Rejuvenator onto both sides of the screen, and wait 5 to 10 minutes. Apply a Tek screenwash to both sides of the screen, and wait 2 to 5 minutes. Remove the products with a high-pressure water system, starting from the bottom of the screen and slowly working your way up from side to side.

2. Procedure for removing heavy or old stains:

Spray or brush Tek-404 Screen Rejuvenator onto both sides of a dry screen and allow it to completely dry. Apply a Tek screenwash to both sides of the screen and wait 3 to 5 minutes. Remove with a high-pressure water system, starting from the bottom and slowly working your way up from side to side.

NOTE: Due to fabric wear, improper stretching, or mesh counts of 280 TPI or more, the use of Tek-404 could cause fabric breakage, as with any other caustic haze remover.
